Audio Engineer Development Program

The Onyx Soundlab Audio Engineer Development Program is an intensive audio recording education that covers every facet of audio recording and post production – from tracking and overdubs to mixing and mastering – in an actual working studio environment. Our studio is being utilized by both major and independent recording artists and companies on a daily basis, allowing you to record artists using the same microphones, mixing boards, and digital audio workstations used in studios all over the world.

You'll also learn from the best: the Onyx Soundlab producers are studio professionals bringing years of audio engineering and production experience into the studio as they show you how to run a professional recording session. In addition to music, you’ll dive headfirst into the challenges of audio postproduction for movies and television shows as we regularly work with such programs as The History Channel, Spike TV, and Universal Studios and affiliates.

If you’re going to be involved in professional recording and music production, you need to know your way around digital audio workstations. From the Internet to video games, DVDs, and film and TV soundtracks, digital audio engineering is everywhere, and this course will give you the skills you need to excel in this expanding field.

~ All classes are one-on-one with a producer/engineer directly in the control room of the recording studio
